The M2000 Controller Family provides coordinated motion for stepper and servomotors in multiple axes. This family of controllers is based on the Intel i960 32-bit RISC microprocessor. They support one to four axes of coordinated motion with linear, circular, and smooth curve interpolation. Features, such as, built in HP-GL with 3D extensions, serial port host communication or stand-alone operation, real-time feedrate over-ride, and program pausing, provide excellent solutions for many special applications.
The following pages describe the M2000 controller's hardware. You will learn which headers need to be connected, what output lines are available for use, and how to read the LED's for diagnostic and status information. In other words, this document tells you how to hook up your controller and make sure it is working correctly.
The most common options and
configurations are discussed. If you have a special need that is not covered
