THE RPC353 Remote Processor Core

The new ExtraTech®  RPC353 core is an upgraded processor that will allow for a greater range of versatility. This new processor is Linux® based and multi-thread; it has greater speed and twice the memory.  It also includes 10/100 Ethernet and USB capabilities. This processor is used in all of ExtraTech's next generation motion controllers.

Custom control system designers can tap the capabilities of an optimized central processor resource with the RPC353 Remote Processor Core.  Supporting your application with a powerful, highly stable,  and compact Linux® based operating system, you’ll have the latitude to tailor your control system to address your unique requirements.  It also includes 10/100 Ethernet and USB capabilities, video connector & driver, a vector floating point unit, a clock calendar chip, and 64x64MB of active memory.  This platform is indeed the central horsepower designed and used by ExtraTech Systems for all of our motion controllers, and it’s now available as a stand alone product for those OEM’s interested in developing their own system.
